VOTE
Taunya L. Hines for
Councilwoman Ward 3
It's been said that behind every man there is a great woman. Now it's time for this woman to step out of the shadow and find her place on the council. My name is Taunya L. Hines. I have been the wife of Quincy Hines Jr. for the past 15 years and proud mother to his children, I've resided in this community for over 20 years. I'm a God fearing Christian woman who knows with God on my side there is nothing I can't overcome. As long as God orders my steps and the citizens of Ward 3 keep me accountable we will have a successful 4 yr. term. You can find me every Sunday at the Ark of Safety Church. I'm a woman who believes in standing up for what is right and working to reach my goals.
I am a woman who supports and will continue to support good work, acknowledging what your issues and concerns are will be addressed at hand. I believe it takes a village to raise one child. I have been passed the torch and I'm not afraid. of running the race. My parents have taught me morals, values and discipline. I will use these virtues to guide me through the tough decisions involved as a council member,
I know that I can offer a new and young perspective. I bring determination and have strong beliefs in preserving the rights of the citizens of Forest Heights. I am extremely qualified for this position. I am a resident of this town and I am concerned about the way it is run. I believe in using my problem solving skills to resolve any concerns you may have. I have very strong leadership qualities, which will be used to bring forth much needed changes. I love to listen to the unheard. I will voice their ideas to ensure the members of our community are equally represented.
There are a lot of changes I would like to bring to our community. We need to work together to promote equal rights. We need to listen to all members of our community not just the unspoken, I'd also like to implement more children's programs, elderly activities and neighborhood watches.
Most importantly we need to take back our community. We need to get everyone involved and work together.
Our ancestors fought for this right so I strongly urge you to come out and vote to ensure ALL voices are heard in Forest Heights.
Sincerely,
