Hello Neighbor:

My Name is Mary L. Wimbush and I am running for Mayor of the Town of Forest Heights.

I live at 5813 Sachem Drive, Forest Heights, Maryland 20745. Forest Heights has been my home for over 23 years. Never in all of that time have I witnessed the corruption that has plagued the Town of Forest Heights that we are witnessing right now and has been for the past two or more years. Prior to this corruption our town was run with some level of dignity and honesty. Some of ouir current officials doesn't seem to understand dignity, honesty or integrity.

I am a Federal retiree from the Department of Health and Human Services after thirty-one and a half years. I worked in The Office Personnel and Pay Systems, EEO Investigations and Merit Systems Investigations, The Office of Upward Mobility, The Office of Executive Search. And the Office of the General Counsel. My final tour was as a Management Analyst in Personnel and Pay Systems within DHHS.

I understand that the leaders of the Forest Heights Freedoom Fighters are supporting Andrea McCutcheon for mayor, because she turned Myles Spires in. She only turned him in because I questioned Spires about certain illegal activities in a public meeting. McCutcheon only turned Spires in to get the spot light off of her. She admitted to signing at least one fraudulent overtime check.

Spires stated in his Special Edition of the Forest Heights Examiner and I quote, "McCutcheon has given away Town money by writing checks with only her signature on them and approving overtime without consent of the Chairman of Finance Committee - Council Ross...which is illegal!"...

I cannot tell you who to vote for.. I am telling you that I will be honest with you and I will not steal from you Neighbors, you do have a voice, this is your Town and I promise that I will listen to what you have to say, not only will I listen, I will act on it.

It is time to take our Town back. I respectfully request that you vote for me , Mary L. Wimbush for Mayor on May 9, 2007.
