Dear Neighbors of Forest Heights Ward 1
My name is Reginald Nickens, running for your representative of Forest Heights Town Council Ward 1, electing me bring consistence leader ship, working with our citizen to continue to have safer and clean streets for Ward one Homeowners.
Briefly let me tell you about my background and why electing me, to ward one, will, be in very capable hands, I, purchased my home here June 1990, educated in the Washington D.0 area and the great state of Maryland. Served honorable as an combat medicate for Washington D.0 National Guards while working as a Officer for the Federal Department of Correction in Washington D.0 now retire after working there for thirty years and presently working for Maryland Departments of Social Service, my responsibilities are:
• Interview for Maryland Medicaid and Medicare according to Maryland COM mar and Maryland annotated codes
• Write appeals to the Maryland Administrative judge
• Determine eligibility for Maryland Medicaid payment
• Interpret ting Maryland COM mar for the public
• Responsible for staff interview for questionable occurrence, supervising prisoners human resource need, medical treatment, education, temporary housing, salary review for prisoners, on job detail.
• Evaluated personnel and prisoners conducted training programs, maintain schedule for institution
• Administered and supervised prisoners health care policies, institution procedure
• Enforced existing rules and security precautions to prevent use of drugs and potential weapons migrating into the facility, submitted written reports on questionable occurrence
Volunteer with the Forest Heights Citizens Committee since 2005, served on the following committees, administrative, charter and ordinances, ways and means, public work, and the police broad. In the past two years working with the Mayor and the Town council we have accomplish greatly in the history of this town, I want to continue to move this town forward and knowing that I can not do this with out your vote for Ward one Town Council
