MAYOR AND TOWN COUNCIL TOWN OF FOREST HEIGHTS

RESOLUTION 01– 06

APPROVE PAYMENT OF BRIDGETT, MOCK & ASSOCIATES
FOR THE FY 2004 AUDIT

INTRODUCED BY: Councilman Wiggers

WHEREAS, An annual audit of the municipal finances is required by Maryland State law; and

WHEREAS, Bridgett, Mock & Associates have satisfactorily completed an Audit for the Town of Forest Heights; and

WHEREAS, Bridgett, Mock & Associates have billed the Town of Forest Heights in the amount of $17,700.00 for their auditing services; and

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Town Treasurer is authorized to make payment in the amount of $17,700.00 to Bridget, Mock & Associates. Funding for this payment in excess of the $6,000 budget for auditing services shall be deducted from account 7150.00, Street Repair Project, until such time as the Treasurer prepares revised estimates of expenditures for all other accounts and other discretionary funds are identified to the Council's satisfaction.

AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution shall take effect immediately upon passage.
