A resolution to reallocate sums and amounts for the remainder of the Fiscal Year ending June 30, 2004.
Section 1. The general purpose of the Resolution is to reallocate sums and amounts for the 2003-2004 Budget of the Town of Forest Heights, Maryland in the following areas of the General Fund.
Section 2. BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Town Council of the Town of Forest Heights, Maryland that the sums and amounts are hereby reallocated for the Fiscal Year ending June 30, 2004, to defray expenses and operations costs for the Town of Forest Heights as follows:
• An additional $7,000 allocated to Medical Insurance to cover the cost of recently hired personnel
• An additional $6,000 to MML, Dues and Meeting Expense for councilmember and mayor attendance at relevant municipal seminars/conferences.
• $300 allocated to Mayoral/Miscellaneous to expense the purchase of saving bonds related to the Black History. Student Award Program. Funds for the purchase of savings bonds were actually derived from a $300 donation from Eastover Associates Ltd.
• $35 allocated to Education/Training for Treasurers attendance at the Department of Labor Seminar in May
• An additional $865 allocated to Capital lmprovements for purchase of new computer
• An additional $10,000 allocation to Cost of Retirement, needed to bring the Town's Pension Plan current
• An additional $1,000 allocated to supplies and miscellaneous
• An additional $692 allocated to utilities to cover increased fuel cost
• An additional $1,000 allocated to Police Department repairs and equipment to cover unanticipated damage to police vehicles, as a result of consecutive accidents.
• An additional $200 allocated to Police Department supplies and miscellaneous.
• An additional $3,500 allocated to street lighting
• An additional $200 allocated to Municipal Building supplies, repairs and maintenance
• An additional $700 allocated, to Reimbursements for Mr. Clarke's purchases for the Administration and the Police Department
• An additional $750 allocated to supplies and miscellaneous for the Public Works Department
• An additional $1,800 allocated for the purchase of a voting machine for the forthcoming election.
• An additional $456 allocated to Contract Employees for the utilization of Temporary Employment Services for Town. Clerk and Police Clerk Position.
