RESOLUTION NO. 11-04

A RESOLUTION TO APPROVE THE APPLICATION FOR THE COMMUNITY

DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT, PY-31

Introduced by: Ways and Means Committee

WHEREAS, the Forest Heights Municipal Building/Community Center is not handicapped accessible-ADA compliant; and

WHEREAS, the Forest Heights Municipal Building/Community Center needs handicapped ramps, railings, automatic doors, and restrooms;

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and Town Council of the Town of Forest Heights, Maryland hereby agrees to the submission of the Community Development Block Grant Application, for PY-31, for the rehabilitation of the Forest Heights Municipal Building/Community Center, to make it handicapped accessible-ADA compliant.

AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution shall take effect upon its passage.
