RESOLUTION 14-04

A RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT INNER CITY RESIDENTIAL AND COMMERCIAL

DEVELOPMENT GROUP AS THE CONTRACTOR FOR THE MUNICIPAL

BUILDING ADA COMPLIANCE PROJECT, CDBG GRANT (PY-29)

Introduced by: Municipal Building Committee

WHEREAS, the Forest Heights Municipal Building/Community Center is not handicapped accessible-ADA compliant and has received funding from the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), PY-29, with a remaining balance of approximately $80,000; and

WHEREAS, the Inner City Residential and Commercial Development Group will begin Phase I of the 1st Floor handicapped accessible-ADA renovations of the Forest Heights Municipal Building/Community Center at the cost of $79,629;

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and Town Council of the Town of Forest Heights, Maryland hereby agrees to accept the Inner City Residential and Commercial Development Group proposal to begin Phase I of the 1st Floor renovations of the Forest Heights Municipal Building/Community Center at the cost of approximately $80,000, to make it handicapped accessible-ADA compliant.

AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution shall take effect upon its passage.
