RESOLUTION 17-04

A RESOLUTION TO APPOINT PEARMAN, BOBO & FULSE, LLC

AS TOWN TREASURER, PART-TIME, AT $20 PER HOUR FOR

THE TOWN OF FOREST HEIGHTS

Introduced by: Administration Committee

WHEREAS, the Town of Forest Heights currently does not have a treasurer to perform the town's financial needs; and

WHEREAS, the Town of Forest Heights needs a firm to perform accounting functions in preparing a comprehensive budget addressing town's financial needs as well as advising the town on ways to strengthen internal control structure, which Pearman, Bobo & Fulse, LLC firm has performed for various government agencies;

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and Town Council of the Town of Forest Heights, Maryland hereby agree to appoint Pearman, Bobo & Fulse, LLC to perform accounting functions for the town's financial needs, at the cost of $20 per hour.

AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution shall take effect upon its passage.
