Dear Forest Heights residents, town elections are just around the corner.
On May 9, 2007 you will have an opportunity to select your leader for the next two years.
Evaluate each candidate carefully, we have a great town and you want to choose the candidate that is right to lead the town of Forest Heights not someone that just wants to be in charge.
You want proven leadership. The short time that I have been out of office has been very chaotic.
The trash is not being picked up on time and there are days that it is not picked up at all!
There are secret meetings being conducted!
Have you seen a police officer lately, I haven't!
Did you know that the chief of police and the assistant chief are gone! Do you know what your current leaders are doing?
You would think that the current leaders would let you know what is going on with our town!
Is everything a secret with the current leadership?
Is this the type of leadership you want?
I am a proven leader and we had very few problems when I was running the town. Put May 9, 2007 on your calendars and make sure that you come out and vote!
Remember a vote not cast is a vote for the opposition!
PS: If you are unable to make it to the polls, you can request an absentee ballot from the town hall anytime before 4pm, but it must be received seven days before the election which would be May the 2, 2007.
Make your vote count! Larry M. Stoner, SR
