ELECTION

TAUNYA L. HINES

It's been said that behind every great man there is a great woman. Now it's time for this woman to step out of the shadow and take her place on the council My name is Taunya L Hines. I am a wife, a mother, and a grandmother. I am a God fearing Christian woman that knows with God on my side there is nothing I can not overcome. I am a woman who supports and will continue to support good work. I've resided in this community for over 20 years and because of that I am extremely concerned with the way it is ran. I believe it takes a village to raise one child. With that being said I believe our community is like a child and it will require everyone love and attention to keep it going in the right direction. I realize that in the past our town has had bad publicity, letting the D.C. Metropolitan area believe that our town is full of misguided individuals with the wrong intentions. Lets work together to set the record straight I know that I can offer a new perspective, determination, and a strong belief system that will help preserve the rights of the citizens of Forest Heights. I believe if elected my responsibility to you is to inform you of the information I receive and listen to your concerns. Some of the concerns I'd like to address for you as a council member are;

•       The police department

•       The budget

•       The beautification of our town,
